No More Excuses!

One of the most popular reasons people give me for not "getting into" scrapbooking is, "I don't have time!"

I understand.  Believe me!  I don't have time every day to pull out ALL of my tools, ALL of my photos, and ALL of my paper.  And don't get me started on the days when I don't even know what I want to work on!  (I won't tell you hwo many albums I have in progress...)

So what if you have a project in mind but need a quick way to get it done?  There are definitely a few options for you.

Go Digital!

If most of your photographs are digital, they're most likely sitting on your hard drive, just waiting for you to print.  Am I right?  Here are some things to do with your digital pictures:
  • Upload them to CMPhotocenter.com and get them printed for super cheap.
  • Create a StoryBook!  You can still get StoryBook Creator 2.0 for free and download tons of cute (free) themes to make your own keepsake photo album.
  • Create lots of unique photo gifts on CMPhotocenter.com like mugs and Personalized Poems
Use my CM ID 21652231 when you register for CMPhotocenter.com and get 20 free prints!

Paper Album Kits!

Paper Album Kits are a quick and easy way to complete a giftable album for someone special in your life.  Each kit comes with everything you need to create your album: photo mats, embellishments, and an envelope for mailing!  Everything is perfectly coordinated, so there's no need to hunt around for just the right stickers to match.

Psst!  There are three Paper Album Kits on sale in the While Supplies Last section of my website.

Quick Kits!

I love Quick Kits!  There was one day that I sat down with the 8 x 8 Pet Quick Kit and said, "I'm going to finish this today."  You know what?  I DID.  It was such a fun and satisfying way to put together an entire album in a short amount of time!

Like the Paper Album Kits, the PicFolio Quick Kits come with everything you need to create a perfectly coordinated album.  Seriously--just add pictures!

PicFolio Quick Kits come in 8 x 8 or 12 x 12 album sizes.  Visit my website for more details!

So what are you waiting for?  No more excuses!  You DO have time to put those pictures in albums, and if you ever need help, I'm always here.  :)

Sunday Scrappin': Sweets

This week's Sunday Scrappin' theme is "A Sweet Treat."  Since I'm all digital lately, I decided to whip up a layout featuring me and my sweetheart.  :)

Made in StoryBook Creator 2.0 with the Cherish theme
My Ta-Da's:
  • I finally finished Simon's StoryBook last week!
  • Been doing tons of CM marketing and had a couple sales
My To-do's:
  • Reach my sales minimum for the month!
  • Have a successful crop on Saturday
The lists are short, but I have been really focusing on CM this week.  I don't want to deactivate (again!).  :)

Be sure to check out all the other Sunday Scrappin' folks!  There are lots of cute layouts to be seen.

Finis!

Simon is 2.5 years old.  Can you believe it?  Well.  Shame on me, but I finally sat down to do his StoryBook yesterday.  The good news is that I completed the entire thing in one day!  Here are my two favorite pages:

Accomplishments

I spent alll day yesterday feeling uncomfortable and miserable, probably as a result of our massive efforts on Sunday to organize the third bedroom into a craft room/play room.  I pretty much just sat around and whined all day while ordering the kids around.  There was one accomplishment, though: I started and completed a Faithbook to use as an example in future workshops.  This was a difficult project for me since I'm not an outwardly religious person.  Still, I think the finished product turned out to be lovely.

I have uploaded my Faithbook on CMPhotocenter.com.  If you'd like to be invited to view the entire book, drop me an email with your contact info (first name, last name or initial, & email address).

Baby Gift Guide

I know a few people who are expecting this year (myself included!) and a good friend of mine got me thinking about what a new mom might want to get to help her preserve all those precious memories.  With so many options in the keepsakes section of those big baby stores, moms might feel overwhelmed when looking for just the right baby book or keepsake box.  I hope this gift guide helps!
The Treasures Journal jar is a ceramic keepsake jar that comes with a 40-page pad of journaling boxes.  You can record all the little things that happened, milestomes, or funny things someone said.  Keep these moments in the jar or save them for future use in an album with pictures.
I love this Keepsake Display because it can be hung on the wall of your child's room, in the kitchen, or anywhere you want to display photos, calendars, or memos.  The front is magnetic and it can be opened up to reveal a French bulletin board and a compartment for storing papers.  Not only THAT, but it can be turned to open from the left or the right!
What's a mom to do with all those digital pictures?  Organizing photos can be a real pain and extremely time-consuming.  New moms don't have time to do it all, you know!  Memory Manager is a fabulous software that makes it SO easy to organize and sort all those digital pictures.  Combined with StoryBook Creator Plus in the Click It II Collection, they make a fantastic gift for moms who want to capture every moment and share with all their friends and family.  With the StoryBook software, not only can mom make a special keepsake book (and order several copies for her family and friends) she can also create custom birth announcements, party invitations, and holiday cards!
For a mom who has always been interested in scrapbooking but knows that she probably won't have the time, the Slide It Collection is just right.  The collection comes with Milestones albums in three different sizes, a set of pens, and a tape runner.  Combine this collection with a Pink and Blue Milestones Album Kit and you've given a new mom a great time-saving gift!

Paper Album Kits come with everything you need to create a beautiful keepsake album.
